Our Story
Started in 2006 with one rule: do the work you'd be proud to inspect in 20 years.
Ottawa Bath and Tile was founded by a journeyman tilesetter who'd spent a decade on bigger crews and grown frustrated watching showers get built fast instead of right. The first job was a friend's Orleans ensuite — built slowly, fully waterproofed, finished on a Sunday afternoon over coffee. That shower is still going, 20 years on.
The business has grown deliberately. Today we're a four-person crew — owner, two tilesetters, and an apprentice — and we run one bathroom at a time per crew. We've turned down work to keep the standard. We'll keep doing that.
We're proud to be a small, local, Ottawa-owned business in an industry full of one-truck rebrands and quote-bots. When you call, you reach us. When we quote, we mean it. When we build, it lasts.
